Montrose Global Aircraft Leasing has delivered a Saab 340B+ to Int’Air Iles of the Comoros Islands.
The delivery represents Montrose’s first Saab 340 aircraft in Africa, with several other of the aircraft type currently operating on lease in North America and Asia Pacific. The aircraft will significantly increase Int’Air Iles capacity on routes between the Comoros and neighbouring islands above the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan it currently operates.
Montrose Managing Director, Nick Brice, says “it is great to see established operators investing in growth markets and we’re delighted to be able to help them achieve their ambitions”. The aircraft is due to enter service in late August / early September 2018.
